Approved titles (listed below) are being filled through the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide (NY HELPS) Program. Titles included in this program are listed with "(NY HELPS)" after the title. For the duration of this program, these titles have been reclassified to the non-competitive class. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications may be appointed on a non-competitive basis. In accordance with the program's guidelines, employees appointed under NY HELPS will be transitioned to permanent competitive status without further examination.

This is a Qualified Incumbent Examination (QIE) for eligible employees in an approved NY HELPS program title under the jurisdiction of Chautauqua County Civil Service. Exams are administered pursuant to Civil Service Law, section 17.4 and 57 and the Chautauqua County Civil Service Rules. Qualified incumbents will be notified by email.
